Background Story : A young Champion rises, fueled with passion and old tales of great Powers hidden in the depths of the Earth. Unite the surface world, and venture down to explore the caverns. Stories say that a passage to the hated Enemy is also to be found below.
Whether Halfling or Goblin is chosen, equal Resources, Hazards and even Roleplay is to be had. Even the Leaders are equal but opposite. Beware the Guardians of Dungeons and Ruins in the Caverns, as they are Mighty! Don't risk your Leader unnessecarily.
FACTS
This map is what I call an arena map, because both sides are equal, all cities on surface are 1-sized, all cities in caverns are 2-sized and all cities in depths are 4-sized cities. Caverns are filled with monster lairs, crypts, prisons, sphere nodes and 2-sized cities. In the prisons, you will always get a lvl 20 hero, there are 16 heroes with lvl 20 in the caverns... that makes a big gap between the starting leader (lvl 4) and them. In the other ruins, the items are just too powerful, it is really easy to get armors with more than 3 defense and resistance, weapons with high attack bonus and magic strike.
It takes about 25 turns to fully conquer the surface... but you can't conquer the other side because there is a big chain mountain in the middle and you can't get to the other side without casting flying units.
When entering the caverns, you can't dig to the other side so you have to find the depths. On the way, there are many ruins with the heroes... tough to explore but when you have one lvl 20 hero, it's piece of cake.
Once in the depths, there are eight 4-sized cities one of each races (there are no neutral races in the map) . There is also many mines, a load of treasures and the way to the other side. This makes a big war because each player have 8 lvl 20 heroes, a load of power base. And this is where the big war begins.
As the author said in the readme, he didn't know that all stats are capped to 10. So all ruins have strong items, very strong. Equipped on the high level heroes, they make them titans, only killable by other titans.
Graphics : Doodads poorly done, none in the caverns, and not much in the depthes, making the map boring for the eyes.
